Leadership Studies

Chris Jones has more than 30 years’ management consulting experience in business, non-profits and all levels of government including extensive experience with First Nations. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Management Consultants of British Columbia (FCMC). His professional interests include strategic execution management, opportunity assessment and performance measurement and he is an expert in the application of online rubric technologies designed to aid these functions. He has taught in the School of Business since 2004 and in the School of Leadership Studies since 2005.? He teaches management courses at the Justice Institute of British Columbia.


Jones is president of FORUM Consulting Group and StrategyLink Consulting and previously worked with Grant Thornton and Price Waterhouse. Jones is a regular contributor to Summit Magazine and the Journal of the Financial Management Institute of Canada. He contributed to Clem Bowman’s 2005 book Intangibles, devoted to the theory and practice of explicit rubrics in decision making and opportunity assessment. Jones sits on the Greater Victoria Advisory Board of The Salvation Army and is a community advisor for The Victoria Foundation.

He holds an FCMC from the Institute of Certified Management Consultants. He is a former Chartered Accountant and was appointed to Fellowship in CMC-Canada in 2005.
